In brief what I expect of you, the parents
*Please take an interest in our program and talk with your child about the day's activities
*All parents will be required to sign in and out on a daily basis due to licensing regulations.
*Leave one set of complete clothing here for your child in their cubby.
*Notices of new policies/menu/schedule will always be available for your convenience in your monthly newsletter or single sheet in between months of any immediate changes to be made.
*NO toys are to be brought to child care
*Children are to be here no later than 930am every morning. If a child does not arrive as scheduled, you may receive a phone call so that I may check on the well-being of your child’s absence for that day.
*All children are to be picked up no later than 5pm. A late pickup fee begins at 501pm and is enforced.
*Please be prompt with your child care payment so we can promptly meet our household obligations.
*Keep shot records current, therefore providing the caregiver with a new updated copy each time the child receives a new immunization. I have a no tolerance policy on shots, unless you have a religious preference, and/or other request.
*Please do not bring food for your child when a meal is missed, this disrupts our schedule and is not fair to the other children.
*If a situation arises due to a custody dispute, you will be required to make custody papers available to me so that I have a copy on file should any situation arise due to the circumstances.
*Medicine to be dispensed must be given by the parent only. We do not dispense medicine here at this facility. If the child needs a dosage, you may come and give it to your child. I will not be responsible for medications.
*I expect 2 weeks written notice to be given upon leaving this facility
*If a check is ever returned, I will notify you and ask for you to pick up the check and pay all service charges that may incur through my bank because of this inconvenience and a $25 returned check fee.
*If your child has thrown up, had diarrhea, ran a fever, etc. overnight, please do not bring them to childcare the next day. This sets up a vicious cycle of passing germs back and forth between the children. They MUST be symptom free for 24 hours before returning to childcare. Due to allergic reactions, if antibiotics are administered, please do not bring your child until after antibiotics have been given for a period of 24hrs at home. Please note that your child will be separated from the group on a cot for a rest time period until parent/guardians have arrived to pick up children.
